The BiH Minister of Defense Zekerija Osmić will lead a delegation of the Resource Ministry and the BiH Armed Forces at the international defense industry fair “IDEF 2013”, which will be held in Istanbul from 7-10 May.
Osmić will meet with the Turkish Minister of Defense Ismet Jilmaz and speak of the continuation of cooperation in the area of defense.
The BIH Ministry of Defense said that Osmić will thank Turkey for the support that it lends to BiH at the NATO headquarters for the activation of the Action Plan for NATO membership.
Osmić will ask that BIH remain in focus of the foreign policy of Turkey, and further support the country’s process of integration on its path towards the EU and NATO.
“This will be a chance to speak about joint participation in programs of cooperation in the area of regional initiative and for the continuation of activities of Turkey as a NATO contact point Embassy for BiH”, said the press release.
Brigadier Brane Janković from the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH and Head of Osmić’s cabinet Mustafa Sinanović will be part of the BiH delegatin.
