Elektroprivreda Bosnia and Herzegovina (EPBiH) will soon embark on a major project to build the Gracanica Solar Power Plant.

The fact that the estimated value is more than 40 million euros or 80 million BAM, speaks of how big the project is.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which will finance the project, published a general procurement notice on September 6th.

It informs interested companies about this project.

The project consists of the delivery and installation of the Gracanica 1 and 2 Solar Power Plant (total capacity 50 MWp) on reclaimed landfills that were previously used for coal mining.

It is stated that the loan funds amount to 40 million euros, and they will provide another 250 thousand euros in grants.

The total estimated value of the project is 40.340.000 euros, the notice added, Biznis Info reports.
