BiH Junior Basketball Team in A-division

košarkaJunior basketball team of  BiH won a round of A-division of the European Basketball.

At the match for the 13th  place at the European Championship in Latvia, the coach Nenad Marković and his team, yesterday after two overtimes sessions  won against Ukraine with the result  96:85. The result after 40 minutes of the game was 74:74 (16:18, 12:26, 31:16, 15:14).

The most effective players of  BiH representation were Polutak with 29 points, Lakić with 17,  Lazic with 14, and Zahiragić and Gačić with 13 points.

This triumph of the BiH Junior Basketball Team “pushed”  the selection of  Georgia in B-division in which in the next season will play even Slovenia and Bulgaria, due to the fact that the three qualified teams are classified to a lower division.
