covic-we-must-have-an-alternative-solution-to-agreement-with-sdp_1422603909Member of the BiH Presidency Dragan Čović said today in Mostar that BiH will receive the questionnaire by December 10 and that he expects the country to obtain the candidate status for accession to the EU by the end of next year.

Čović said that he told the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković that representatives of the Croatian policy in BIH, which they lead through the HDZ, are the vanguards of the European path and that there are no dilemmas about that.

“When it comes to constitutional reorganization of BiH, our priority is the equality of the Croatian people. Our commitment is the unique BiH, without any separations, modernly organized for the needs of our European path,” said Čović.

Čović added that the issue of the decision by the Court in Strasbourg about the Sejdić-Finci issue must be solved by the end of January next year and that amendments to the Election Law of BiH must be made, thus solving the issue of the election of members of the Presidency of BiH and decision-making in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
