Organized by the Municipality of Bihać and the Association “Homemade products”, the Homemade Products, Traditional Crafts and Handicrafts and Sevdah Fair was open today at the City Square in Bihać. 14 exhibitors presented their work.
The Municipality of Bihać has been very supportive for the past two years when it comes to local craftsman and farmers living of their own work and employing a respectable number of citizens.
Emdžad Galijašević, the mayor of the Municipality of Bihać also visited the fair, showing that way his support of the local producers.
“Without promotion of the local production and tourism we cannot expect to increase production or to have more tourists. That is why we support craftsman doing catering in the National Park Una” – said Galijašević.
A concert presenting “sevdalinka” as a traditional Bosnian song with, among others, Ibrahim Jukan to present it will be held tonight.
