BURCH University: Faculty of Education’s Career Day 2014 Held

burchThe program started with addressing of Dean Assoc. Prof.Dr. Azamat Akbarov, and Career Day 2014 coordinator Assist Prof. Dr. Mirna Begagić, who greeted company representatives and students, and introduced them with the activities.

Burch University alumna Alma Milišić and alumnus Eldin Milak were invited to share their impressions about their studies at the International Burch University and how it affected beginning of their professional career. They pointed that each student is responsible of how to shape its own career, but advised them to participate in activities offered to students for their personal and professional development, and to use the benefits of the Burch University where talent and hard work are appreciated.

After the introductory speeches students of English Language and Literature and Oriental Philology, as well as other students interested in career activities, had an opportunity to attend various presentations by the Burch University lecturer Malcolm Duerod, Alma Vatreš from British Council, Orhan Hadžagić from weekly newspaper „Novo vrijeme“, and other representatives of the companies participating to Career Day 2014.

After the presentations students were invited to visit company stands and got the information about employment, required skills and other important facts that could be useful in job hunt.
