Camil Durakovic travels to USA at the invitation of Bill Clinton?

Durakovic ClintonBill Clinton, the former US president, invited Camil Durakovic, the Mayor of Srebrenica, to participate in a special plenary session at the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative. One of the biggest events in the NGO sector in the world will be held from the 19th to 21st of September in New York, as announced from Durakovic’s Office.

The past annual meetings were attended by many world political and business leaders including US President Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Jack Ma, Hilary Clinton and many others.

“It was an honor to be with You last year in Srebrenica, and I was deeply touched by your speech,” wrote among other things Bill Clinton in a personal letter in which he invited Mayor Durakovic to participate in the summit.

About the importance of this plenary discussion in which besides Mayor Durakovic will participate Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, speaks the fact that Bill Clinton will moderate this discussion, which was announced under the topic “Reconciliation and the joint society.”
