Climate Change Dialogue in B&H started in Sarajevo

Sunset on Bjelasnica 3More than 120 students will take part in the Climate Change Dialogue in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the expert event hosted by the Delegation of the European Union and EU Special Representative in BiH, the Embassy of Sweden, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), on 5 and 6 November 2015 in Sarajevo.

In the run-up to the global climate change conference COP21 scheduled to take place in Paris in December, the event aims to raise public understanding and concern for the impacts and threats caused by climate change. Participating students will have an opportunity to gain scientific and technical knowledge in training sessions and panel discussions, and expert insight through contacts with leading companies in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and innovation.

A panel discussion with Head of EU Delegation and EUSR Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, Ambassador of Sweden Fredrik Schiller, Ambassador of Germany Christian Hellbach, Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands Loes Lammerts, Deputy Ambassador of France Catherine Veber and BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović will take place on Friday, 6 November 2015, starting at 10:00.
