Company “Kondor” from Bijeljina works for “Diadora”: 50 more Workplaces in January

Dragan Bilic, the owner of a company that is engaged in the production of leather and leather accessories for almost 20 years, and whose primary activity is footwear production, said that they are planning another production line for foreign partners this January, as well as the extension of their line for domestic production, with which will be opened at least 50 new workplaces.

According to Bilic, about 95 % of production capacity is based on footwear production, and they were producing only for their foreign partner “Diadora” from Italy by 2017, and this year they expanded their offer to the domestic market as well by launching their own brand of anatomic footwear named “Kondor”.

When it comes to exports, Bilic noted that some things need to be realized much faster.

“Our system is quite slow, and we are waiting for a long time for some additional clauses. Foreign companies do not have this problem and they resolve these issues in only two days. Our operations would be much easier for us if we did not have to transport raw materials and goods across several borders because they are always crowded. Waiting on the border crossings represents a big handicap for us because we have to pay penalties in case of a delay,” stated Bilic.

Mayor of Bijeljina Mico Micic stated that main problems for the development of the economy are the unsettled political situation in BiH and the border crossings between the states.

The company “Kondor D.M.” enploys about 100 people, and the female labor force is making up more than 90 % of the working collective.
