The Presidency member of B&H Bakir Izetbegović, led the constituting session of the Organizing Committee of the 13th selection of the best athletes, organized by the “Nezavisne Novine” and the Radio -Television of B&H. The session was held on Friday.
Preparation for the selection has officially started by adopting the rules and setting the dates of the jury sessions.
“I am honored to be a part of this story. “Nezavisne Novine” through this event have contributed to connect people what is good for the spirit of this country and for the promotion of sport”, stated Izetbegović, that in 2010 was the leader of the Organizing Committee.
“I wish that the politicians are more like athletes who facilitated the work of professional jury this year and cheered us up repeatedly. Basketball players unfortunately did not pass the group stage, but we enjoyed their good game. Handball players started good, and about the successes of football players, there is no need for comment. Also, individual successes are not negligible. They can also serve as examples and we are very proud”, added Izetbegović.
