Continuous Growth of Prices on Gas Stations in BiH?

gaspromeJudging by data of the Department for Prices of the Ministry of Trade of FBiH, value of gas and diesel on BiH gas stations has been growing week by week.

A series of requests for the increase in fuel prices has been registered in the past month, confirmed the Head of the Sector for Pricing and Market Analysis Lela Glibo.

Requests are being received in the frequency of three requests per week, for an increase by up to five fennings. If the trend continues, the crossing of psychological limit of two BAM might be seen in several weeks.

Current prices of fuel in FBiH range between 1.70 BAM and 1.90 BAM. Prices vary from gas station to gas station, as well as from canton to canton.

Of course, the movement of values is conditioned by the change of prices of crude oil on the world market. Given the continuity of growth of the value of crude oil, it is reasonable to expect the continuation of the growth of prices on BiH gas stations. On Thursday, the value of black gold on US and European market amounted to 51 and 52 dollars per barrel, respectively.
