Countries of Southeastern Europe signing the Jahorina Declaration

13318693_1196211443763143_194974930_nMinister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Albania Elona Gjebrea, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia Mitko Čavkov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Moldova Dorin Purice, Secretary of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Montenegro Dragan Pejanović and Director of Police of the Republic of Serbia Vladimir Rebić signed the Jahorina Declaration yesterday, within the Ministerial conference on cooperation in the field of border security in Southeastern Europe.

The Declaration defines the priorities of the future work and cooperation within the DCAF program, especially when it comes to exchange of information about new challenges and trends in the field of border security, organization of trainings and adoption of European standards and principles which are valid in the countries of the Schengen zone.

Organizers of the Ministerial conference are Ministry of Security of BiH and the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
