delegates of the parliamentary assembly of B&HDelegates of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H, will discuss at today’s session in Sarajevo, a Draft resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, which was proposed by delegates Denis Becirovic and Mirsad Mesic from SDP and Zaim Backovic from BPS.

Proposers of thi resolution want the House of Representatives to pay tribute to all victims of genocide an express its deepest condolences to the families of victims of the genocide made in July 1995.

On the proposed agenda of the meeting is the Report on the implementation of law from the auspices of the Central Election Commission of B&H in the last year, and members of the relevant commission emphasized this week that it should be approached more seriously to amendments of the Election Law this year which is not the elective one.

It has been evaluated that the weakest link in the election process are election boards for whose work around 4 million BAM are estimated, which is more than 50% of the total budget for elections, and the most malfeasances were done in that process.

It was emphasized that it could be solved by introducing the electronic elections and the CEC (Central Election Commission) was invited to make a pilot project for the next elections, especially if it is known that India, which has around 1 billion inhabitants, successfully finished that process.

The agenda also provides the consideration of the Report on the protection of personal data in B&H and the Annual report on the results of activities of the Institution of ombudsmen for human rights for the last year.

Delegates should be determined on the Information about the work of the Prosecution of B&H, that the members of the competent commission refused to acknowledge, in emphasizing, among other things, the slowness in the prosecuting the war crimes and acts from the field of organized crime.

Information of the Regulatory agency for communications of B&H abut the prices of services of mobile operators, in which is stated that prices of those services are above the prices in countries of the region, before all compared to Croatia and Serbia, is also on the agenda of today’s session.
