EUSR Ambassador Wigemark to visit Doboj Tomorrow

wigermackHead of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina and EU Special Representative, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, will visit Doboj on Friday 02 October 2015.

During the visit, Ambassador Wigemark will meet with Mayor of Doboj, Obren Petorović, to discuss European Integration related issues and to hear local viewpoints.

Together with BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Slavko Matanović, Ambassador Wigemark will inaugurate the HQ for the BiH Railways Regulatory Board. The EU provided more than 1.5 million EUR for construction and equipment of this building.

Ambassador’s visit will end with the official opening of the Health Care Centre in Doboj, rehabilitated under the EU Floods Recovery Programme. Successful completion of all rehabilitation works in Doboj, for which the EU invested nearly 5 million EUR under this Programme, will also be marked on this occasion.
