Exhibition ‘Jewels of the 20th Century BiH Architecture’ opens today in Sarajevo

vilaFrom 22 April to 1 May the Commission for preservation of national monuments will organise an exhibition ‘Jewels of the 20th Century BiH Architecture’. The exhibition will be opened on Tuesday, 23 April at the Architecture Faculty of Sarajevo, and member of the Commission Amra Hadžimuhamedović will hold a speech, announced the commission.

The exhibition will be set at the Architecture Faculty of Sarajevo and it will be held as a part of the ‘5th International Conference on Dangers and Modern Heritage’ which is organised by International Centre for Preservation of Heritage – BH CICOP, in cooperation with Architecture Faculty of Sarajevo.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see 60 panels where architecture from 20th century is presented, like the villa of Emerich Pascola in Banja Luka, old rail station in Banja Luka, Isahijjeta in Brčko, Kočić’s house in Brčko, Partisan monument-cemetery in Mostar, Necropolis to Victims of Fascism in Novi Travnik, Church of Mother of God in olovo, Hadžišabanović’s villa in Pale, complex in Džidžikovac in Sarajevo, Building of the Pensioners’ Fund in Sarajevo, building of the rail station Bistrik in Sarajevo, building of Historical Museum of BiH, Musafija Palace in Sarajevo, and similar objects.
