Exhibition Filipović novovrijeme.baExhibition titled “Places of memories” was installed at the Art Gallery of B&H in Sarajevo, in which the B&H artist Zlatan FIlipović questions the role and influence of digital technologies on contemporary artistic expression.

The exhibition consists of two segments – the realistic one (photographs) and the virtual one (which can only be seen with smart devices). Precisely using these devices, the artist created a series of photographs and works.

The photographs exhibited are a starting point for further research presented via electronic platforms, which enable the creation of new space in the creative artistic creation.

The author says that the majority of works exhibited was created on the territory of the United Arab Emirates by using technologies available to everyone. In this case, however, the artist used them in another way.

The exhibition will be installed in Sarajevo until February 5 and the setting is dedicated to the Art Gallery of B&H. Filipović said that each project is a step towards new research and he would be happy to present this exhibition to the audience in other B&H cities and the region.
