”Napredak’s festive Christmas concert was held last night at the National Theater in Sarajevo, ” as reported by the Anadolu Agency (AA).
It is the central event of the traditional manifestation “Napredak’s Christmas Days 2021.”
The concert was performed by the Sarajevo PhilharmonicOrchestra, Kristina Kolar, soprano and Croatian national opera champion, but also this year’s winner of the Croatian Theater Award for best artistic achievement in opera in a female role, and Robert Kolar, baritone and champion of the Opera in the Croatian National Theatre (HNK) I. pl. Zajc in Rijeka, all under the baton of conductor maestro Robert Homen.
Some of the most beautiful overtures, arias, and duets from the pens of composers such as Giuseppe Verdi, Pietr Mascagni, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioacchi Rossini, as well as beautiful songs “O holy night” and “White Christmas” were performed.
Attendees were able to enjoy the concert, shortly before the brightest and holiest Catholic holiday of Christmas.
