Sitting of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H is scheduled for today at 12:00 pm, with only one issue on the agenda – the confirmation of appointment of members of the Council of Ministers of B&H.
This information was confirmed by Šefik Džaferović, the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. By then, the deputies should receive documentation from SIPA, regarding the evaluation of the candidates for Ministers and Deputy Ministers.
Security checks completed
“The leadership of the Parliament was in contact with Denis Zvizdić, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, all day and according to the information he gave us, documentation regarding SIPA’s checking of all candidates will be submitted to all members of Parliament until today’s start of the sitting,” explained Džaferović.
Otherwise, according to unofficial information that we obtained, the documentation on finished checking of all candidates today are found on the table Goran Zubac, Director of SIPA, and is only expected him to sign documents so that they can be delivered to the Parliament of B&H.
Acting Spokesperson of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, Kristina Jozić, could not confirm for Klix.ba this information and she only pointed out that the official checks are still ongoing and that upon their completion, the public will be informed on time.
The sitting of the Commission for the election of the Council of Ministers is scheduled for today at 10 o’clock, and should prepare a decision on the appointment of ministers before the sitting of the House of Representatives. In order to do so, Commission must have the documents on the implemented security checks on all candidates for positions in state government.
Tomorrow confirmation of Government of FB&H
As a reminder, the appointment of the FB&H Government waited for the sitting of the national Parliament. Extraordinary sitting of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament is likely to be held today as well, in order to confirm the appointment of the Government of FB&H.
This was confirmed by Edin Mušić, Chairman of the House of Representatives.
“Sitting of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H where budget will be discussed has been scheduled at 14 o’clock. We have left the possibility to convene sitting where Government of Federation B&H would be appointed”, said Mušić to Srna.
It was announced before that if the sitting of House of Representatives of B&H for naming Council of Ministers convenes on Tuesday and the proposed Decision on the appointment of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers of the Federal Government gets signed and submited by the President and Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, conditions will be met for convening special sitting of House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H for confirmation of the proposed decision.
To recall, the condition of Democratic Front of Behr and HDZ B&H was that appointment of the Council of Ministers of B&H and the Government of FB&H happen on the same day and the same hour.
