donation-new-born-babiesFirst born babies in 2017, a total of 47 of them and their mothers, in maternity units in Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla and Banja Luka were visited by representatives of Konzum BiH and received vouchers in the form of an annual supply of Lumpi diapers that will make their time easier and more carefree.

“This is the happiest day of my life. Exactly two minutes after midnight, I gave birth to a beautiful little girl. The baby and I feel great, everything went great. My husband and I are so proud, this is the most beautiful gift that we could get in 2017,” said Alena Aljukic, who gave birth at the General Hospital” Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakas” in Sarajevo.

Guided by the thought that there is no better start of the year than a beginning of a new life, a visit to the maternity units and the donation of newborn babies has become part of the business traditions of Konzum BiH. These meetings turn into an unbreakable bond. Last January, Alisa Vujinovic from Sarajevo was in the maternity unit, and today she enjoys playing with her one-year-old son and husband in their home, with a lot of happiness, laughter and harmless mischief.

“I remember the last New Year’s Eve, we planned a celebration with our friends, but the baby decided to surprise us and arrived two days earlier. Moments before midnight and the beginning of New Year, my husband and I arrived at the hospital, and our son was born a few hours later. Konzum BiH made us happy with their gifts, and I’m happy to have them with us this year, and on Noa’s first birthday. It was a beautiful and friendly meeting,” said happy mother.
