Government of Tuzla allocates 11 Million BAM for Environmental Protection

The Government of Tuzla Canton approved on Tuesday, the Program for the allocation of funds from the environmental compensation of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Environment for 2020.

To support the implementation of projects aimed at improving the situation and protecting the environment, a total of 11.1 million BAM has been planned for Tuzla Canton for 2020.

Of this amount, 3,554,815 BAM has been planned to support the implementation of projects of municipalities and cities in the Tuzla Canton. For the first time, grants to individuals for renewable energy are planned to replace existing coal-fired pellet boilers with the aim of reducing air pollution. 500,000 BAM is planned for this purpose.

Non-profit organizations, for cooperation with international organizations on projects of implementation of energy efficiency measures in public buildings, planned 530,000 BAM, RTV Slon reports.
