Growth in BH Industrial Production recorded in September?

industrial-productionIndustrial production in BiH in September recorded an increase by 3.6 %, in comparison to September last year.

According to data from the Agency for Statistics, in September this year compared to the same month last year, production of energy was increased by 13.5 %, capital goods by 7.3 %, while production of non-durable consumer goods decreased by 1.5 % , intermediate goods by 3.3 % and durable consumer goods by 4.8 %.

When it comes to business areas, the highest growth was recorded in the printing and reproduction of recorded media by 36.7 %, and the production of coke and refined petroleum products by 31.8 %, in September this year in comparison to September last year.

The largest decline in industrial production in this period was recorded in the production of other transport equipment by 79.6 %, and computers, electronic and optical products by 39.1 %.

The total seasonally adjusted industrial production in BiH in September recorded an increase by 0.5 % compared to August this year.
