valentin_inzko-afpHigh Representative Valentin Inzko congratulated today the Indirect Taxation Authority, its Governing Board, director Miro Džakula and all those who have contributed to the record annual collection of indirect tax revenue, which has exceeded 6 billion BAM.

This makes a total of over 50 billion BAM collected by the Indirect Taxation Authority since its establishment.

“Indirect tax revenue makes up most of budgetary revenue at all levels of government in BiH and thus contributes to their fiscal stability and efforts to ensure financing of their institutions as well as other obligations.

This underlines the importance of continued support to the Indirect Taxation Authority by all relevant institutions, including through the provision of sufficient resources for its work. It also once again demonstrates that reforms such as the indirect tax system reform do make a practical positive difference that directly benefits the whole of the country and all of its citizens”, the High Representative said.
