nasipThe water level of Sava is still high 8 days after the catastrophic floods that hit B&H. The process of rehabilitation of the Sava embankment is on going.

“Activities on the rehabilitation of the Sava embankment have continued even during last night. The situation at the embankment is under control, but still is necessary a constant attendance along the embankment, as still the pressure of Sava is huge. 100 employees of Rudnika and Termoelektrane Ugljevik and members of B&H Armed Forces will be today on duty to monitor Sava embankment”, announces the City Staff for emergency situation of Bijeljina city.

The water level of Sava is slightly declining and is 6 cm less than the previous day.
The most critical situation is in the flooded affected areas of Broc, Jelaz, Ostojićev and Velino where today will be intensively worked on the removing of dead livestock.
