Increase of Salaries for Employees in Civil Service Bodies and Judicial Authorities

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo today, with the representatives of the Union of Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Independent Union of Civil Servants and Employees in Civil Service Bodies, Judiciary and Public Institutions in the FBiH, signed the agreements which are expected to increase salaries in 2023 by a total of 11.11 percent, announced the FBiH Government.

The government has established a salary base of 385 BAM, which will be applied for police officers in accordance with the Law on Salaries and Remuneration of Police Officers of the FBiH. The same basis with a point in the amount of 1.00 will be applied to civil servants and employees in civil service bodies, judicial authorities and public institutions in the FBiH.

The agreements were signed on behalf of the FBiH Government by Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, and on behalf of the two trade unions, the President of the Management Board of the FMoI Employees’ Union, Mihret Rotić, and the President of the Independent Union of Civil Servants and Employees in Civil Service Bodies, Judiciary and Public Institutions in the Federation of BiH, Samir Kurtović.
