Israel braces for Iranian Attack: Multi-Front Combat Plans approved

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), General Herzi Halevi, held a meeting where combat plans for various fronts were approved.

According to an IDF statement, Israel is preparing for potential attacks from Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah, with some officials estimating that an attack could occur within the next 24 hours.

“The Chief of Staff emphasized the continuation of high readiness efforts and assessments for attack and defense,” said the military.

The meeting was attended by Halevi’s deputy, heads of intelligence and operational branches, the Chief of the Northern Command, the head of the Air Force, and other senior officers.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated earlier on Monday that Israel has been strengthening its defense in recent days in anticipation of an Iranian and Hezbollah attack and is preparing potential counterattacks or preventive actions if necessary.

“Threats from Tehran and Beirut could materialize, and it is important for everyone to understand that readiness, preparedness, and vigilance are not synonyms for fear and panic,” Gallant said.

Regional Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst reported that regional sources are concerned that Iran and its proxies (Hezbollah, Houthi rebels, Hamas, and Iraqi allies) could launch an attack on Israel within the next 24 hours.

“Officials in the Middle East believe we have reached zero hour,” Yingst reported, Klix.ba writes.
