12968547_1146600038724284_391163591_nIt is impossible that two banks in the Republika Srpska fail and that no one is held responsible for it, assessed the member of the BiH presidency from the RS, Mladen Ivanić.

Pointing out his wonderment with the statement of the President of the RS Milorad Dodik that arrests in the action “Avalanche” (“Lavina”), that has been conducted during the past several days by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), are an “attack on the banking sector”, Ivanić told the press in Bijeljina that everyone should support the fight against crime.

Ivanić said that it is encouraging to hear different tones from the ruling structures, other than those coming from Dodik.

“We had an opportunity to hear the Director of the Police of RS Gojko Vasić, who said that they have been working on the unveiling of illegality in Bobar Bank and that the latest action by SIPA was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS,” Ivanić stated.

According to Ivanić, this disputes the claims of the president of the RS in a certain way. Furthermore, Ivanić added that the Minister of Finance Zoran Tegeltija also said that he expects to see who is responsible for the failure of Bobar Bank.

“That is why I do not understand Dodik and why he made such an assessment, because there was no need for that and it is clearly not a dominant attitude of the institutions of the RS,” Ivanić concluded.
