“JP Elektroprivreda” BiH Profit of 7.1 Million KM in 2012

The public company “JP Elektroprivreda” BiH achieved a profit of 7.1 million KM in 2012, said the General Manager of this company Elvedina Grabovica during a presentation of business results of the company in the “Tuzla” power plant.

The total company revenue in the last year amounted to 926 million KM. During 2012 6.509 GWh of electricity were produced. All buyers of EPBiH were supplied with electric power.

In the coalmines, which are the concern of EPBiH, 75 million KM were invested during 2012 in the process of recapitalization. This was at the stage of procurement at 65 million KM. During 2012, the acquisition of coal amounted to 6.23 million tons.

Activities were intensified for the preparation of the construction of new facilties.

In 2013 they are planning the beginning of the construction of three electricity facilities-hydropower plants “Vranduk” and “Ustikolina”, and small plants on the Neretva river.

Around 390 million KM are planned for investment.

Activities are continuing on the modernization and restructuring of the “JP EPBiH” and mines.
