kaplanFBiH Minister of Culture and Sports Salmir Kaplan signed a contract with managers of festivals of international importance, reports klix.ba

The contracts were signed by manager of International Theatre Festival ‘MESS’ Dino Mustafić, manager of Sarajevo Film Festival Mirsad Purivara and manager of East West  Centre Haris Pašović, while  the manager of Sarajevo Jazz Festival Edin Zubčević will sign the contract later.

Kaplan said that the festivals of culture are very important because they developed during the time of great hardships.

The contracts were signed on the basis of the public call ‘Support to Development of Festivals and Culture Project of International Importance in FBIH’, where those festivals which were selected got 1 300 000 BAM from FBiH budget in 2013.

The realization of these and other contracts depends on the revision of the FBiH budget for 2013 year, which, in turn, depends on the transfer of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Minister Kaplan has guaranteed that as soon as the first payment for the ministry comes, those funds will go to the signatories to the Treaty.
