Zeljko Komsic, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and candidate of the Democratic Front, spoke again about the possible imposition of changes to the Election Law and the consequences that such imposition would bring.
According to the claims of Komsic, if the mentioned changes were imposed, which would practically legalize the so-called legitimate representation in the House of Peoples of theParliament of the Federation of BiH (FBiH), it would make it impossible to definitively admit BiH to the European Union(EU).
“Trust me, people, what Schmidt was thinking of doing, and if he does that, I now guarantee to you, if he does it, we will never be a member country of the EU. Never. Now we cannot enter the EU with this kind of constitutional arrangement. When he thickens the ethnic lines between us, only then we will not be able to join the EU.
One thing you can be sure of – while we are here and have a right to decide something in this country, we will never give up. We will never bend, regardless of who is on the other side,” noted Zeljko Komsic.
