Engagement of Frontex and the development of cooperation

One of the topics of the meeting was also the engagement of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) in BiH, which is a positive step forward that will significantly strengthen the capacities of the BP of BiH in state border surveillance and in performing border control duties, and contribute to overall security in the region.

In that sense, Kupresakovic said that a number of preparatory activities are being carried out with the aim of strengthening the capacities of the BP of BiH for participation in joint operational activities, training of police officers, and other activities to be ready to respond to new challenges.

On this occasion, Ambassador Moller expressed his commitment to the development of cooperation between the BP of BiH and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in BiH, and Kupresakovic also expressed openness for continuing to strengthen mutual cooperation between the mentioned institutions, the BP of BiH stated.
