‘’Various documents were requested and something was in the plans for the building. We took old postcards, photographs, TV footage and some documents arrived from abroad. Also, wherever old parts of the façade were preserved, we left them like that’’, said Osmanković.

Until now, around 11 million Euros have been invested for the restoration of Vijećnica, mostly from donations from several European countries and cities. The opening is planned in May next year and will be accompanied by a concert by the Vienna Philharmonic.
