Lawsuit against Serbia and possible termination of cooperation with SDA?

SDA Sandžak fokus.baPresident of the Socialist Party (SP) Petar Djokic, expects from Serbian representatives in the institutions of BiH to terminate the cooperation with the SDA Party, if it remains to seek the initiative on the revision of BiH lawsuit against Serbia before the International Court of Justice in the Hague.

Djokic said that, if the initiative by the SDA finds a legal way, Serbian representatives should automatically declare SDA as a destructive to the interests of the Serbian people.

Moreover, he stresses that the Serbian representatives should not work with the SDA at any political level, as long as the party does not change its wrong policy.

Dokic believes that there are no legal procedures and instruments, according to which the lawsuit could reactivate.

“However, so far, we have been repeatedly faced with the terrible occurrences in regard to the application of the international law and we were surprised by the decisions adopted by some international legal institutions, so, one should not be surprised by anything, but should be more cautious,” adds Djokic.

He said that authorities should act promptly at all levels, and that he expects Serbia to prevent such action by the SDA Party, the action which is destructive to the interests of the region, the Dayton Peace Agreement and international law.

Djokic considers that the leader of the SDA Bakir Izetbegovic wants to keep high tensions between Serbs and Bosniaks and thus to cover up some of the things he and his party could not manage to do in the Federation of BiH.

“SDA and Izetbegovic himself want to deliberately destabilize the situation in BiH. If a political party opts for such a policy, then the public has every reason to condemn this policy,” said Djokic. He said that the SDA should be aware of their roles and responsibilities, as it makes a significant part of the authorities in the Federation and at the state level.
