Lieutenant General Portolano visit to EUFOR Headquarters

On Thursday and Friday 5-6th July, Lieutenant General Luciano Portolano, Head of the EU Command Element (EUCE) and Chief of Staff Joint Force Command (Naples) visited EUFOR headquarters.

General Portolano was welcomed by COMEUFOR, Major General Martin Dorfer before being updated on the latest activities of EUFOR by the Heads of Departments.

The General also received information about the work of the 17 EUFOR LOT houses that are in touch with the local community and agencies to monitor the situation in BiH, before visiting the EUFOR LOT house at Novo Sarajevo to see the work for himself. Here he talked to the staff and learned about the local issues and areas of responsibility they deal with.
