M.T. Abraham Group, Aluminij Industries d.o.o. and Aluminij d.d. Mostar have signed a lease agreement, Fena news agency reports.

The Abraham Group and its partners will begin implementing the strategic plan as set out in the agreement between the parties, all to ensure that Mostar based Aluminium Smalter start operating in due time, the Chinese-Israeli consortium announced.

“From the beginning of the negotiation process, I had no doubt that we would reach a mutual agreement. Starting tomorrow, we must concentrate on implementing our strategic plan to restart the manufacturing process,” said President of M.T. Abraham Group and Director of Aluminij Industries d.o.o. Amir G. Kabiri.

Director of M.T. Abraham Group, Isaac M. Tamir, added that he would do everything to make Mostar Aluminij a stable company again.

“Due to the current turmoil in the world economy, it is most important for us to show confidence in the Aluminij plant, as well as our deep commitment to our long-term goals. We will do everything we can to create a stable company that will meet the challenges of the market and we intend to become a major player in the global aluminum industry,” said Isaac M. Tamir in a statement.
