melikaMelika Mahmutbegović, a doctor from Bugojno whose nomination for one of the two Vice-Presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is almost a certain thing, told FENA today that in the next 10 to 15 days it is expected to have appointed the new convocation of the FBiH Government.

Even though she does not know what will be the future distribution of ministerial positions because the talks are ongoing, it is very important that the first step in the formation of the FBiH executive is completed.

After some delay, it is expected to have the appointment of a president and two vice presidents of FBiH as leaders without whose consent it would not be possible to start the process of appointing prime minister candidate for the new government.

The fact that the leadership of the Federation of BiH was comprised by women in the past (Spomenka Mičić, vice president, Krišto, president), and her appointment is imminent, she says that women are able to act in this, but also in many other fields.

She is satisfied with the fact that her political party has recognized her as a candidate for such an esteemed position and expects that it would be recognized in other spheres.
