In Gothenburg on 27 April the XI meeting of Trebinje and Scandinavia will be organized, and will begin with a football tournament called “Trebinjijada” that will feature six teams.
Until now, the teams that participated in the tournament were Pridvorci, Lastva, Bregovi and Zasad. The right to participate in the tournament is open to all teams that have at least two from Trebinje on their teams or two members of the Association of Trebinje from Gothenburg.
A special jury will choose the best goal person, the best scorer and the best player of the tournament.
After the tournament there will be a gathering of people from Trebinje, and the meeting will be broadcast live on Radio GBG from Gothenburg. The guests in the program are participants in the tournament, poets, artists, cultural figures and successful business people.
There will be an exhibit with artwork on sale by the painter Ahmed Kapetanović, as well as an exhibit of photographs of Željko Budimir.
The meeting will mark the poet Meho Baraković, whose poetry collections will be on sale, and all the proceeds from the book sales will go to humanitarian causes.
There will be a popular raffle organized where the jersey from the goalman of the BiH football team Asmir Begović can be found.
