maroko NATOOn the sidelines of the 82nd Rose Roth Seminar held in Morocco, members of the Delegation of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly for NATO (PSNATO) Milorad Živković and Asim Sarajlić met with the General Secretary of PS NATO Hugh Bayley and the General Secretary of the International Secretariat of PS NATO David Hobbs.

Bayley and Hobbs said that they are pleased with the cooperation of the BiH Delegation with PS NATO, especially in activities that are being realized in Southeast Europe.

During the first day of the seminar, the speakers of both houses of the parliament of Morocco Karim Ghellab and Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah and Hugh Bayley addressed the participants of this great conference, where they spoke of the situation in countries in North Africa and the Middle East.

They stressed that cooperation between countries of that region with countries that are members of NATO and the EU is necessary and unquestionable.

They also pointed out that Euro-Mediterranean and Transatlantic security is a necessity and the only possible response to a number of security challenges, and it is particularly important to jointly respond to terrorism as a global challenge.

The following scheduled seminars are expected to revolve around issues of how the experience of Southeast European countries could be of use to countries in North Africa and the Middle East in the process of transition.
