At a meeting between Chief State Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić and Admir Omerbašić, who, under the authority of the Government of the Federation of BiH, manages the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, a Cooperation Agreement was signed, which will enable fast and direct cooperation between institutions in the processing of criminal offenses and illegalities in the tax and fiscal areas.

The Agreement enables fast communication when checking data on tax obligations, transactions through fiscal devices, data from the register of business entities, records of real estate transactions and other data necessary in the processing of criminal offenses in the field of financial and economic crime

A statement from the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH emphasized that this agreement is particularly important in the context of conducting financial investigations in cases of economic and financial crime.

Also, its role in recording and blocking property suspected of being acquired illegally and arising from the commission of criminal offenses was particularly emphasized.

At the meeting, intensive cooperation between the two institutions in the fight against criminal offenses that use modern computer and information technologies was agreed.
