13281838_1774247506145259_1993436094_nMore than 1,000 high school students from all over BiH, went to work this morning. This will be their first work experience, and a number of institutions and companies opened their doors to them for the day.

This is carried out under the project ” Social Day ” by the Association “Infohouse”, for the 9th consecutive year.

The project is being realized in 40 cities, and high school students, after gathering on city squares, went to banks, museums, ministries, and to the British Embassy, which decided to participate in the project this year.

Project coordinator Dalila Hadzic said that the project is supported by numerous government institutions and private companies every year, as well as non-governmental sector.

“We must unite and help our youth in order to keep them in the country and offer them a better future,” said Hadzic.

She believes that one day can help students to decide about their life calling, and there is the possibility to continue volunteering during the holidays as well.

Students will receive a daily allowance which will be paid into the fund ”Social Day”, from which will be financed projects for the improvement of the local community.
