Director of Public Utility Company “Winter Olympic Games ‘84” (PUC WOG ’84), Midhat Hubijar, told to agency Fena that ski conditions on Bjelasnica are currently perfect.
He emphasized that vertical transport on ski resorts, including a six-seat, is available, and invited Sarajevo citizens to visit Bjelasnica, where a great fun and good service are guaranteed during the New Year holidays and the rest of the season.
Hubijar explained that temperatures are adequate, there is enough snow, and the trails are fully prepared.
“The artificial snowing was done on Thursday and last night in a full capacity,” said Hubijar, adding that workers of PUC WOG ’84 were engaged in field for 24 hours.
Hubijar has emphasized the “Malo polje” which has a specific ski trail, but also represents a specially suitable place for beginner skiers, and stated that the nordic skiing trail at the ”Veliko polje” was prepared excellently.
