[wzslider autoplay=”true”]This year in June, representatives of the Foundation Novak Djoković and UNICEF B&H visited the nursery “Krajiška radost” in Sanski Most, and after examining the current situation decided to financially support this nursery.

Thanks to 100 thousand EUR of donation by the Foundation Novak Djoković, the complete nursery was restored after last year’s floods in May, when it got completely devastated.

“Everyday stay of 167 children in the nursery now is much better than before the May floods. The nursery on the left side of the Sana River was heavily damaged in floods, but thanks to donations and contributions, new quality floors and plastic joinery are set up, the walls and roof are repaired, and new furniture and carpets have been purchased. Children returned in their renovated nursery with special joy and expectations,” said the director of the nursery “Krajiška radost,” Behrija Grozdanović.

“When children learn and work with their teachers with so much enthusiasm, when they are looking forward to every visit and hanging out, you cannot avoid such a beautiful story of a happy and healthy childhood. The reconstruction definitely would not be possible without the help of the representatives of the Foundation.”
