stereotipA disease of B&H society is gender based violence against women and girls, and the USAID Mission in B&H supports the prevention and reduction of violence against women and girls. The prize campaign “Ne budi papučar/ka i tablet osvoji!” is only one of the activities as part of ‘Orange Day’.

This is a global campaign to prevent violence against women and girls that is marked every year on 25 March. The launchers of the campaign are the youth network UNiTE and the General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon.

‘’Be a photographer, help destroy stereotypes. Send your photographs that shows this and win a tablet! Send your works to rejan-igor.roic@kultbih.org, and two winners that receive the most votes by the expert commission of USAID and the Institute will receive a tablet! The technical characteristics of the photograph are not important, but rather the message that you wish to send. So mobile or camera in your hand!’, said the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

The deadline for submitting photos is Monday, 24 March at noon, and the winners of the tablet will be given the award during the marking of Orange Day on 25 March in front of BBI Center.

The USAID Mission in B&H is supporting Orange Day through the program os strengthening institutional capacities of USAID’s partners in B&H.
