Participants of Peace March Departed From Sarajevo to Nezuk

UÈESNICI MARŠA MIRA IZ SARAJEVA KRENULI PREMA NEZUKUPeace march started today in the direction “Sarajevo -Nezuk- Srebrenica”  in memory of several thousand of Srebrenica citizens who after the Srebrenica attack in July 1995, started a long journey of more than 100 kilometers to find refuge in Tuzla. Peace March is organized by the Union and Organization of Fighters BH Telecom.

Participants from Sarajevo should walk for 8 days on the long route, more than 240 kilometers.

“We plan 24 kilometers for the first day and we will spend a night in a mountain house Ozren, like last year. The second day is planned a route of 22 kilometers in the direction  Draževići- Krivajevići-Bakići-Olovo until the house Ponijerka. The third day is planned an overnight stay in the mountain house Javorje, said the President of the Union of BH Telecom Sarajevo Directorate Muhamed Papić.

He emphasized that participants will have to do the longest route of 43 kilometers on the fourth day and this year the overnight stay will be organized at the improvised camp in Kalesija.

The shortest route will be on 7 July, only 19 kilometers, where in Nezuk we will join the column of Peace March  “Nezuk- Srebrenica 2014” and on 8 July, we will continue toward Potočari.

This year are expected 4-5 thousands of participants from the whole world in peace march.

The departure of Peace March “Sarajevo-Nezuk-Srebrenica” was scheduled at 07:30 in front of monument of šehida and martyrs in Dolac Malta, Sarajevo.
