Pilot Project ‘Basic Training of Officers’

oficiri_obukaOn occasion of the beginning of training for 30 selected candidates in the B&H Armed Forces, as part of the pilot project ‘Basic Training of Officers’, the Minister of Defense of B&H Zekerijah Osmić and the Mayor of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces General Major Anto Jeleč will visit today the Center for Basic Training of the Armed Forces in the barracks ‘Zaim Imamović’ in Pazarić.

The pilot project ‘Basic Training of Officers’ is one of the most important projects of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of B&H within the system of defense.

Due to the significance of this project for future operations of the B&H Armed Forces, the focus is on preparations in the process of selection and transparency.

Candidates who have passed the first and second phase of selection and who have been chosen for the third phase, the training phase, will undergo training that will last 44 weeks in the Center for Basic Training in Pazarić, after which the candidates will sign agreements on admission to the Armed Forces, announced the Press Office of the B&H Ministry of Defense.
