12804297_1114821671902121_419432831_nThe FC Sarajevo yesterday hosted two young Syrians, Riad (13) and Raid (16), together with their father, who arrived to the BiH capital. They were welcomed by the player in the national team of their country and the senior player of FC Sarajevo, Ahmad Kallasi.

On behalf of the Bordeaux team, Kallasi handed over to Riad and Raid complete training equipment, membership cards and several other gifts from the assortment of the Bordeaux Fan Shop, and they were also offered to join the trainings of the Football School “Asim Ferhatović Hase”.

Together with their father, the boys will be guests of the FC Sarajevo at the first domestic match of the BiH champion against Čelik in early March.

“I am happy for seeing my young countrymen and that FC Sarajevo once again demonstrated its social responsibility and greatness by hosting them at the club premises with appropriate gifts. I hope they will be present at our matches, we will always be happy to welcome them, and to me personally it means a lot that the team showed how they think about everyone,” said Kallasi for the club’s official website, adding:

“The war that has been going on in my country for years now is something terrible. Many people lost their lives, there are many displaced people and I am happy that these two boys, together with their family, found their place in the beautiful Sarajevo,” Kallasi said.
