Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković and President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani sent congratulations on March 1, the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Plenković sent a congratulatory letter to Borjana Krišto, chairperson of the BiH Council of Ministers.

“Sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We want to build good-neighborly relations between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while strongly supporting the continuation of the European path, which alone guarantees the stability and prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Plenković.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, also sent congratulations to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the Independence Day.

“We heartily congratulate the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Independence Day! Our two sovereign and independent countries share deep interpersonal ties and a firm commitment to a brighter Euro-Atlantic future. We look forward to continuing our joint work on strengthening the cooperation essential for lasting peace, stability and prosperity in our region,” Osmani wrote in the message.

The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina chose the path of independence in a referendum held on February 29 and March 1, 1992.
