samantha-powerThe Security Council of UN held an urgent session due to alarming situation in the Syrian Aleppo.

Ambassador of USA to the UN Samantha Power stated that events in Aleppo define the modern evil.

“These events will be on our conscience for decades to come. There was Rwanda, then Srebrenica, and now Aleppo,” Power warned.

Power strongly criticized Syrian, Iranian and Russian representatives in the UN.

“Don’t you feel any shame? Can nothing make you feel ashamed and how are you not petrified by an execution of an innocent child,” Power said.

Numerous officials throughout the world have been warning about genocide in Aleppo, stating that the execution of civil population is being performed.

CNN reminded of all crimes of genocide that Power mentioned. They said that the Srebrenica genocide was the biggest crime at the territory of Europe since the Second World War and that Radovan Karadžić was sentenced to 40 years in prison for it. They also added that the verdict of Ratko Mladić is expected to be pronounced next year.
