“I think it is important that in these still turbulent times we send a message of peace, solidarity with all victims and send a message of never forgetting,” said the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazović who arrived today in Potočari where the funeral will be held and the burial of 30 victims of the genocide committed in Srebrenica in the summer of 1995.

“I am glad that the Government of Montenegro is in Potočari every year to commemorate the genocide in Srebrenica. I think it is important that in these still turbulent times we send a message of peace, solidarity with all victims and a message of never forgetting,” said Abazović.

He said that in this context, they will continue to come to Potočari every year.

“Let us, at least symbolically, point out the need to repeat the message that genocide must never be denied and that the truth sets you free. The truth sets you free, and I believe that when we all accept the truth, the region will really take a different path, the path of reconciliation and progress. I am a friend of all people. I do not make any distinctions between the victims,” Abazović pointed out.
