Ratification of Cantonal Government on 06 March

skupstinaMembers of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton will vote on the Ratification of Cantonal Government on 06th of March, when the first session of the Assembly is scheduled.

This is an agreement made yesterday on the first session of college of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, presided by Sejo Bukva.

Due to the need of taking positions on several issues important to the functioning of the Sarajevo Canton, extraordinary session will be held on 3rd of March. On the agenda will be urgent amendment of the Law on Public Revenue in the Federation of BiH and the need of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton to take position in relation to possible new legal solutions.

Prior to the appointment of the new Government of the Canton, it is necessary to respond to the draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Organization and Jurisdiction of administrative bodies and organizations of Sarajevo Canton in which is proposed separation of departments of communal affairs in the particular ministry, and merge of departments of Urban Planning, Housing Affairs and environmental protection.

As announced, the proposals for amending the law on the employment status of deputies in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, legal employment status of members of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, as well as the Law on Salaries and Allowances in government wil be spoken about.

The proposed changes, as it is pointed out by the members of the College, refer to the provisions governing the allocation of “white bread” and advisory positions in government of Sarajevo Canton.

One the agenda of the extraordinary session of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton is also the Draft Decision on Amendments of the Decision on the harmonization of the status of Public Company “Rad” with the Law on Public Companies in the Federation of BiH, as well as the decision on interim appointment of the Board of Cantonal Agency for Privatization.
