Collegium-artisticum-2-300x195 (2)In the Sarajevo ‘Collegium Artisticum’ an exhibition of posters and catalogues from the collections of this gallery since 1975 until 2000 opened. A total of 80 copies were presented.

‘The exhibition is a part of a project ‘Reconstructed Memories’ as part of which this first collective setting is called ‘Recorded Memories’’, which includes 23 artists from 11 countries in South East Europe’’, said the curator Branka Vujanović.

The project is composed of several parts that are based on the organization of archives of ‘’Collegium Artisticum’’, collective exhibitions, and cultural monuments in BiH.

“The initiative for the exhibition started in 2010. We wanted to equip the archive in order to present it to the public. This is the beginning of a research that is based on the cultural life of Sarajevo and BIH. Our wish is for everyone to have access to the catalogue that is unique. With this, we wish to give homage to Fuad Hadžihalilović who ran a gallery during a time when ‘Collegium Artisticum” and Sarajevo became one of the most important cultural centers in the former Yugoslavia’’, said Vujanović.

The exhibition will be open for 30 days.
